The bus number 38 stops outside and goes to either Aviemore or Kingussie and there is a train station at both these towns. Local taxis are available. It is possible walk or cycle to Aviemore along the Speyside way, which can be accessed down the road from the hotel. There are some lovely walks starting from, or close to the hotel.

Accessible information

The car park is made from large gravel stones and has space for 30 cars. The restaurant, bar and lounge for the hotel is wheel chair accessible, however there are steps down to the outside seating area. There are public toilets on the ground floor which are not modified.  Menus and hotel information can be provided in large print and audio (by prior arrangement). In cold weather the car park and surrounding areas can be icy.  There is very little light pollution, so the car park and grounds can be dark at night.

The hotel dates back to the 1700s with additional extensions in later years. There are no bedrooms on the ground floor and there is no lift.
