Woohooo! We have raised the funds for a public def Woohooo! We have raised the funds for a public defibrillator outside The Rowan Tree Country Hotel. Thanks to everyone who has helped support this fund raising campaign, with their time, money and generosity. It is very much appreciated. A special mention goes to Bernadette Chua, who has been a fundamental catalyst, giving her time, knowledge and support to this campaign. The defibrillator should arrive in around 2 weeks. Any excess funds will go towards yearly maintenance and then the Rowan Tree wil take over this.

Where to Go Wednesdays. Did you know there are 2 Where to Go Wednesdays. Did you know there are 282 Munros in Scotland? 55 of these are located in the Cairngorms National Park. There are 60 Munros within an hour and a half drive from The Rowan Tree Country Hotel. These include the second highest mountain in Scotland, Ben Macdui and one of the easiest and most popular Cairngorm mountain. My favourite is Sgòr Gaoith as the views are so awesome.
