It is with great trepidation that I even began writing this story. When you have waited this long to tell a tale, you begin to question whether it is even worth telling. I had spent several years just thinking of the story, and how to develop it, thinking up different endings and scenarios. In the end I just had to start writing.
As with any book, it’s nice to know a little about each character beforehand, but I think it far more interesting to rush headlong into the book and figure it out for yourself as you go. To proclude the chance of any embarassment to my family and friends, the characters in this book are taken from more than one source. So the Boy, may or may not be my son. and he may or may not also include parts of myself, or thoughts that I have had in the process of living my life vicariously through him. In short, you’ll just have to figure that out for yourself.
